Privacy Policy for CFT Calculator : All in One

CFT Calculator ("the App") is developed and published by MD SAMSAD ALI (Aqua App Studio) ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the CFT Calculator mobile application.

1. Privacy Summary

• No personal information (name, email, phone number) is collected by the developer.
• All calculations, saved records, PDF reports, and preferences remain stored locally on your device.
• The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand general, anonymous usage patterns (e.g. which calculator is opened).
• The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to automatically detect and diagnose crashes and errors.
• The App does not use advertising SDKs.
• The App does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
• No user account, registration, or login is required.

2. Information Entered by Users

CFT Calculator allows users to calculate volume measurements and optionally save calculation records. Depending on the calculator being used, users may voluntarily enter:

• Length, Width, and Height measurements
• Measurement units (Feet, Inches, Meters, Centimeters, or Yards)
• Customer Name (optional)
• Vehicle Number (optional)
• Driver Name (optional)
• Place and Material information (optional)
• Notes (optional)
• Rate per unit (optional)

This information is used only to perform calculations, generate PDF reports, and save records on your device.

We do not receive, access, upload, transmit, or store any of this information on our servers, and it is never sent to Firebase, Google, or any other third party.

3. Local Data Storage

All calculation records, generated PDF reports, application preferences, and settings are stored locally within the application's private storage on your device.

This locally stored data does not upload or synchronize your information with any external server or cloud service, other than standard iOS iCloud backup of your device (which is controlled by your own Apple ID settings, not by us).

Generated PDF reports are stored locally until you delete them or uninstall the App.

4. Information We Collect Automatically (Analytics)

CFT Calculator uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to help us understand how the App is used so we can improve it. Firebase Analytics automatically collects:

• An anonymous, per-device identifier (IDFV) that resets if you reinstall the App — this is not the Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
• Approximate location at city/country level, derived from your IP address (no GPS is used)
• Device model and operating system version
• App version and build number
• Language and locale settings
• Session information (app opens, session length, screens viewed)
• A single custom event, calculator_used, indicating which calculator was opened or used and whether the user opened it or tapped Calculate

No content you type into the App — customer names, vehicle numbers, dimensions, notes, or prices — is ever included in this data.

5. Crash & Error Reporting

CFT Calculator uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to automatically detect app crashes and internal errors so we can fix bugs. When a crash or error occurs, the following may be sent to Google's servers:

• A crash stack trace (which part of the code failed)
• Device model and operating system version
• App version and build number
• Technical diagnostic tags describing where in the App the error occurred
• An anonymous installation identifier, used only to avoid duplicate crash reports

Crash and error reports do not contain any of the information you type into the App.

6. Permissions

CFT Calculator does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as Camera, Photos, Microphone, Contacts, Location (GPS), Bluetooth, Calendar, Health, Motion, or Push Notifications.

The App uses standard iOS system features only when requested by the user, or automatically for the purposes described above, including:

• Saving PDF reports to the Files app.
• Sharing PDF reports using the iOS Share Sheet.
• Opening support email, WhatsApp, and App Store review pages.
• Internet access, used automatically for Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics and to display the Privacy Policy webpage.

7. Data We Do Not Collect

8. Third-Party Libraries & Services

The App uses the following third-party libraries and services:

• SQLite.swift – Used exclusively for storing calculation records and PDF report information locally on your device. This library does not transmit data over the internet and does not collect any user information.
• Firebase Analytics (Google) – used for anonymous usage analytics as described in Section 4. Read Google's Firebase Analytics Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) – used for crash and error reporting as described in Section 5. Read Google's Firebase Crashlytics Privacy Policy.

9. Network Usage

Internet access is used for the following purposes:

• Sending anonymous, aggregated analytics events (Firebase Analytics).
• Sending crash and error reports for diagnostic purposes (Firebase Crashlytics).
• Displaying the Privacy Policy webpage.
• Opening the support email application.
• Opening WhatsApp to contact support.
• Opening the App Store review page when requested by the user.

Calculation records, PDF reports, and any information you type into the App are never transmitted to our servers or to Firebase.

10. User-Initiated Sharing

The App allows you to share generated PDF reports using the standard iOS Share Sheet or save them to the Files app.

Any sharing or exporting of files occurs only after you explicitly choose the destination. We do not receive, store, or access any files you choose to share.

11. Tracking & Advertising

• The App does not include any advertising SDKs.
• The App does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
• The App does not show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, because it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.
• Analytics data collected by Firebase is not shared with Google Ads by this App.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

All calculation records, PDF reports, and preferences remain stored on your device until you choose to delete them or uninstall the App.

• Calculation records can be deleted within the App.
• Generated PDF reports can be deleted within the App.
• Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored application data.
• Firebase Analytics data is retained by Google according to Firebase's default retention period (currently 14 months) and is anonymous, so it cannot be tied back to a specific individual.
• Firebase Crashlytics data is retained by Google according to Firebase's default retention period (currently 90 days).

Since we do not collect or store your entered data on our servers, we cannot recover deleted information.

13. Children's Privacy

CFT Calculator is a productivity tool intended for general users and is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

14. Apple App Store

This App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and platform services. We do not control or have access to any information collected directly by Apple.

15. Your Rights

Because the content you enter remains stored locally on your device, you have full control over it.

• Delete saved calculation records at any time.
• Delete generated PDF reports at any time.
• Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data and to stop any further Analytics/Crashlytics data collection tied to that install.
• Contact us if you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when new features or third-party services are added to the App. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
